Dear All,
After discussion with Racheal and Dad I have decided not to pursue video interviews with people on the street for the following reasons:
It will take a lot of time to produce and create, time which I would be better spending in preparing the messages
I don't think it will make a significant difference in the turnup on the evenings, although granted that it would help.
This is our first program ever. Of course we are right to believe in having faith and in dreaming big, but at the same time we need to face the reality that we are not going to have 100 baptisms from it and that attaching gadgets to our program is not going to increase that, it is only the Gospel that will do that.
We believe that God is behind this, but also that Satan will and is doing his best to destroy the program. If we stretch ourselves too far he will be able to get in and muck things up easier.
I'm not against the concept, I still think it's great but if we are going to pursue it it will have to be someone else who does it. If anyone feels a particular burden to organize the interview questions, camera, and editing time please do so. If someone takes it up, we'll definitely use the clips.
God bless
James
